- Customers are required to first call West Coast and get a repair order number prior to shipping their defective merchandise. Then the customer will be required to carefully package their unit, insure it and ship it to West Coast Distributors. WCD is not responsible for packages lost or damaged.
- West Coast will usually have the part repaired 5-7 business days after we receive it. If the unit is not able to be repaired for whatever reason the customer will be notified and the radio will be sent back at no charge.
- Very rarely do repairs take over two weeks, but if they should for whatever reason, the customer will be contacted as to how long it will take to complete the repair.
- West Coast Distributors now offer an Exchange Program with Ford, General Motors and Chrysler. In most cases we can advance you a replacement radio right from the factory and you will have 10 business days from receipt to return your defective core back to WCD. Full retail price of the radio will be charged if the core return is not received within the 10 business day agreement or if your core return has unrepairable water damage... if you believe your radio might have water damage please notify your sales rep. Note: If your return is going to be delayed for any reason please make sure to contact your sales rep immediately. Ask your sales rep about this great program for details.
